Internship experiences Sem Hebben    

For my 2nd year at Citaverde College, I did my internship at van den Borne potatoes. My internship consisted of various activities related to the cultivation of potatoes, and the harvest of the potatoes.

During this time I helped a lot to take the final samples from the potato plots. We had to take samples using the digital map, on which the various EC values were indicated in colors. The number of stems was counted, leaf mass was weighed and the number of floors of the foliage was measured. The temperature of the soil was also determined. The potatoes were assessed by the robot at home on height, (underwater) weight and the number of tubers.
